How to Use AlemBox with RadiAnt DICOM Viewer

Step 1: Setting up your RadiAnt Viewer to Receive Studies

Setting up the Listener

1. Open RadiAnt and click on the "Down Arrow" menu option.
2. Select "Accept pushed studies".
3. Navigate back to the same menu and select "Search PACS Locations".
4. Click on the gear icon next to "All PACS Locations" to find your Port and AE Title for the RadiAnt DICOM listener.

Getting your IP Address

• Windows:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to "Network and Sharing Center".
  3. Click on the name of your active connection.
  4. In the pop-up window, click "Details". Your IP address is listed next to "IPv4 Address".

• Mac:

  1. Open "System Preferences".
  2. Go to "Network".
  3. Select your active network connection.
  4. Your IP address will be displayed next to "Status".

• Linux (Ubuntu):

  1. Click the network icon on the top right of the desktop.
  2. Choose "Wired Settings" or "Wi-Fi Settings", depending on your connection.
  3. Click the gear icon next to the active network.
  4. Navigate to the "Details" tab. Your IP address is listed there.

Advanced: Getting your IP Address Using the Terminal:

• Windows: Open Command Prompt and enter ipconfig. Your IP address is listed next to "IPv4 Address".
• Mac: Open Terminal and enter ifconfig. Your IP address is listed next to "inet".
• Linux: Open Terminal and enter hostname -I.

Note: If your IP is DHCP or automatically assigned, it may change upon restart. You will need to repeat this step.

Step 2: Setting up your AlemBox to Send Studies to RadiAnt

1. Navigate to Settings > Preferences on your AlemBox.
2. Select "RadiAnt" as your DICOM viewer of choice.
3. Insert the AE Title, IP, and Port you found in Step 1.
4. Click "Test Connection". A green indicator means you're good to go.
5. To make RadiAnt your default viewer, toggle the selector.

Step 3: Viewing Studies with RadiAnt

1. Navigate to the "Study Details" page on AlemBox.
2. On the viewer button, click the dropdown and select "RadiAnt".
3. The study will automatically be added to your RadiAnt Study List.
