Welcome to the AlemHub/AlemBox Installation Guide.

This document will walk you through the step-by-step process to set up your AlemHub or AlemBox device seamlessly. Whether you're configuring your device for the first time or adding new components to your system, this guide ensures you can connect to the internet, set up your facility, and configure devices effortlessly. Follow the steps carefully, and you'll be ready to leverage the full potential of AlemHealth’s innovative solutions in no time.

Step 1: Connecting to the Internet

Option 1: Ethernet

1. Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet 1 or Ethernet 2 port on the device.

2. Ensure the other end is connected to a working router or network switch.

3. Verify the device status turns “Online.”

Option 2: Wi-Fi Configuration

1. On the Wi-Fi setup screen:

   • Choose a Wi-Fi network from the list displayed.

   • Alternatively, select Add Other Network if your network isn’t listed.

2. Input the Wi-Fi password and click Connect to Network.

3. Wait for confirmation that the connection is successful.

Option 3: 4G Configuration

1. Insert SIM Card and Connect Antenna

   • Insert the SIM card into the SIM Card Slot.

   • Attach the 4G Antenna to the designated port.

   • Power on the device and ensure the SIM card is detected.

2. 4G Connection Settings

   • Choose between:

     • Performance: Use 4G whenever available for faster data transfer.

     • Backup: Use 4G only if the local network is slow.

Options:

• Performance: Use the 4G connection whenever available to ensure faster data transfer speeds to the cloud.

• Backup: Use 4G connection only if the local network (Ethernet/Wi-Fi) is slower than a predefined threshold.

3. Test Connection

   • Use the Test your speed option to validate network performance.

4. Click Continue to save your settings.

5. Verify that the device displays Online status for 4G.

Step 2: Facility Setup

1. On the “Choose Facility” screen, select your facility.

2. If your facility isn’t listed, click Add New Facility, which will redirect you to AlemHealth Admin.

3. Log in and create a new facility.

Step 3: Device Configuration

1. Input the Device Name, IP Address, and AE Title as provided.

2. Click Continue to proceed.

Step 4: Adding New Devices

1. On the Device Configuration screen, select Add New Device.

2. Fill in the following details:

   • Device Name

   • Device Type

   • IP Address

   • AE Title

3. Save the new device configuration.

Step 5: Final Step – Device Setup Completion

1. Once all configurations are complete, the confirmation screen will appear: “Device Setup Completed”.

2. Click Go to AlemHealth Connect to start using the device.
