Easily request a second opinion or internal quality check with the Request Review flow in AlemHealth Connect. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Open the Study

Navigate to any finalized report in your worklist.

Click into the study you’d like to send for review.
Step 2: Click “Request Review”

Open the QC Assistant tab after the study has been processed by the QC engine.

Click the "Request Assistance" button on the report page.

This feature is available for both second opinions and internal QA checks.
Step 3: Choose a Reviewer

Search for and select a reviewer. This can be:

A colleague
-
A senior radiologist
-
An external second opinion partner

Optionally, add a note or question to provide context.
Step 4: Submit the Request

After selecting a reviewer, click "Request Review"

The study status updates to “Under Review.”

The reviewer is notified, and the case is added to their worklist.
Step 5: Track Review Status

You can monitor the review progress directly from your worklist:

Under Review indicates the request is pending.

Review Completed confirms that feedback has been submitted.

You may cancel the request at any time before the reviewer begins.
Step 6: View the Review Response

Once the review is complete:

The reviewer’s notes or second opinion will be attached to the study.

You’ll receive a notification, and the feedback will be available inline.

If permissions allow, you can finalize or archive the review after reading it.
Tips for Use

Review feedback does not overwrite your original report.

This feature supports both peer quality assurance and external consultations.
