How to Activate Your Microphone
To use your microphone to dictate reports in AlemHealth Connect's AI Assistant, you'll need to grant your web browser permission to access your microphone. Follow the steps below for your specific browser.
Google Chrome
You can activate your microphone directly from the address bar.
- Look for the lock icon in the address bar at the top of your browser window when you are on our website. Click on it.
- A dropdown menu will appear. Find the Microphone setting in the list.
- Toggle the switch to the "on" position (it will turn blue). You may need to reload the page for the changes to take effect.
If you don't see the Microphone option or have previously blocked access, you can manage it in your site settings.
- Click the lock icon > Site settings.
- A new tab with detailed permissions will open. Find Microphone in the list and select Allow from the dropdown menu next to it.
Safari (on Mac)
Safari's settings allow you to manage microphone access for specific websites.
- With Safari open, click on Safari in the top menu bar (next to the Apple logo).
- Select Settings... from the dropdown menu.
- Go to the Websites tab in the settings window.
- Select Microphone from the side panel on the left.
- Find our website in the list of currently open sites.
- In the dropdown menu next to our website's name, choose Allow.
Safari (on iPhone/iPad)
For Safari on an iPhone or iPad, microphone settings are managed through the main device Settings.
- Open the Settings app on your device.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps.
- Scroll down and tap on Safari.
- Scroll down to and tap on Microphone.
- Select Allow to grant access. (Default is Ask)
