AlemHealth Connect's AI Template Selection feature automatically recommends the most relevant report template whenever you open an accepted study. By scanning the study details — modality, body part, clinical indication, and prior context — the AI matches your case to a fitting template so you can start reporting without hunting through your template library.
This guide walks you through using AI Template Selection in your reporting workflow.
Step 1: Open an Accepted Study from Your Worklist
Go to your worklist and select a study that has been accepted for reporting.
Step 2: Click Reports
Once the study is open, click the Reports tab to enter the Report Editor. This is where you'll draft, edit, and finalize your report.
Step 3: Review the Auto-Selected Template
In the Report Details panel, locate the Report Templates section. You'll see that a template has already been selected for you — this is the AI's recommendation based on the study details.
You can start reporting immediately using this template or explore alternatives.
Step 4: Browse or Switch Templates
Click the selected template to open the template browser. From here, you can:
- Browse public templates matched to the specific study type (e.g., CT Chest, MRI Brain, CR Spine).
-
Select a private template from your personal library if you prefer a template tailored to your reporting style or a specific referring clinician's preference.

Pick the template that best fits the case and continue reporting as usual.
Tips
- The AI suggestion is a starting point, not a lock — switching templates mid-report is supported and won't lose your draft.
- Private templates you use frequently will appear at the top of your template list for faster access.
- If the auto-selected template consistently misses for a particular study type, flag it to your admin so the matching logic can be reviewed.
