Keyboard shortcuts speed up every viewer workflow. This article lists the default shortcuts grouped by function. A printable A4 cheat sheet is available at the bottom of this article.
Navigation
Mouse wheel or Up/Down arrows: scroll through the series. PgUp/PgDn: jump by 10 slices. Home/End: first/last instance. Space: play/pause cine. Left/Right arrows: previous/next series.
Windowing
Click and drag with the Windowing tool, or use numeric keys 1-9 for preset W/L (if configured). Ctrl+I inverts. Right-click the viewport to open the preset menu.
Zoom and pan
Ctrl + mouse wheel: zoom. Shift + drag: pan (in any tool). F: zoom to fit. 1: zoom 1:1.
Layout and navigation
L: cycle layouts. Double-click viewport: expand and collapse. Esc: exit full screen.
Measurements and annotations
M: measurement tool. A: angle. T: text. Delete: remove selected measurement. Ctrl+S: save as Presentation State.
Hanging protocols
H: cycle to the next hanging protocol. Shift+H: open the hanging protocol dialog.
Tips
- All shortcuts are customizable under Settings > Shortcuts > Keyboard. Export your custom set to share across workstations.
- On Mac, replace Ctrl with Cmd. All other shortcuts are identical.
