Adding a New Patient
- Go to Patients in the sidebar
- Click "Add Patient"
- Fill in the patient details across three tabs:
Tab 1: Personal Details
Required fields:
- Title (Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss, Dr)
- First Name and Last Name
- Gender (Male, Female, Other)
- Date of Birth
- Phone Number
Optional fields:
- Middle Name
- Patient ID
- Insurance Policy Number
- Marital Status (Married, Divorced, Separated, Single)
Identification:
- ID Type (National ID, Passport, Driver's Licence, Other)
- Name on ID (if different from patient name)
- ID Number
Address:
- Street Address
- City, District/County, State
- Postal Code
- Country (defaults to your facility's country)
Emergency Contact:
- Contact Name
- Relationship
- Phone Number
Tab 2: Medical History
Prior Surgeries (click "+ Add Surgeries" for each):
- Surgery Name
- Year
- Complications
Medications (click "+ Add Medication" for each):
- Medication Name
- Dosage Details
- Reason for Medication
Allergies:
- Iodine (Yes/No)
- Barium (Yes/No)
- Metal Allergies (Yes/No)
- Other Allergies (freeform)
- Additional Medical History Details
Tab 3: Referral Information
- Referring Physician — Select from your facility's physician list, or click "Add New" to create a new physician record (name, email, phone, facility, specialty)
- Referring Facility — Select from known facilities, or click "Add New" to add one
- Click "Save & Next" to advance through tabs
- After saving, you can immediately:
- Schedule an Appointment for this patient
- Register a Walk-In to add them to today's queue
Searching for Existing Patients
From the Patients screen:
- Use the search bar to find patients by name
- Filter by date to narrow results
- Click a patient row to see their details or take action
