AlemHealth Connect lets you print radiology reports in one click, or open Print Preview to choose your letterhead, margins, and Patient Portal QR code before printing. Admins can set the default print layout for the entire group or for individual facilities from Print Settings, so every report starts with the right letterhead, margins, study information fields, QR code, and disclaimer.
This article covers three things: printing a report in one click, customizing a single print with Print Preview, and setting your default print layout in Admin.
Print a report in one click
Step 1: Open the study
You can print reports from the study detail page or from any study list (the Worklist, Studies, My Uploads, or Shared Studies). To print from the study detail page, click any study to open it.
Step 2: Click Print Report
On the top right of the study detail page, click Print Report.
Step 3: Print or save the PDF
A PDF is generated using your group or facility print settings. Open it to print or save it to share electronically.
Customize a print with Print Preview
Print Preview lets you adjust the letterhead, margins, and QR code for an individual report before you print or download it. It starts from the defaults set in Print Settings.
Step 1: Open Print Preview
On the study detail page, click Print Report, then select Print Preview from the dropdown.
Step 2: Review the live preview
The Print Preview window opens with the report on the left and Layout Configuration on the right. The report updates as you change each setting, so you can check the layout before printing.
Step 3: Choose the letterhead source
Under Letterhead Source, select Pre-printed Paper (Hidden on print) if you are printing on stationery that already has your letterhead. The header and footer areas stay blank so the report text fits between them. Select Digital Letterhead (Printed on page) to print your uploaded letterhead directly on the page.
To change the letterhead image itself, click Edit Letterhead in Admin. This opens Print Settings (see the next section).
Step 4: Adjust the margins
Under Adjust Margins (inches), enter a Top Margin and Bottom Margin. These control where the report text starts and ends on the page, so it clears your letterhead header and footer. Watch the preview on the left to confirm nothing overlaps.
Step 5: Set the Patient Portal QR code
Use the Patient Portal QR toggle to include a QR code that links the patient to their digital images. When it is on, choose Small, Medium, or Large under QR Code Size. Whether the QR code is on by default is set in Print Settings, but you can turn it off for any individual report here.
Step 6: Print or download
Click Print (Physical Paper) to send the report to your printer, or click Download Digital PDF to save a PDF you can share electronically.
